Dr. Amit Parasnis is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist practising in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad area since 2003. He is attached to various hospitals and routinely performs all supramajor, major and minor cancer surgeries.

After completing his Masters in Surgery, Dr. Parasnis was selected for a Rotating Residency in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, which is Asia’s Premier Institute for Cancer treatment.During his 3-year residency tenure at TMH, Dr. Parasnis underwent extensive training in surgeries and management of all types of cancers viz: Breast, Gastrointestinal, Head and Neck, Gynaecological Cancers, etc. Dr. Parasnis was also selected for the Ethicon Fellowship for Thoracic Surgery and underwent a further training of six months in Thoracic Oncology i.e. esophageal & lung cancers and mediastinal tumors.
